SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 27 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:ROZA] said on Thursday that it turned to a net profit of 354,000 levs ($201,300/181,000 euro) in 2021 from a net loss of 136,000 levs in 2020.

Bulgarian Rose recorded nearly 4.4 million levs in revenue last year, up from 3.3 million levs a year earlier, the company said in a financial statement.

The company's expenses grew slightly to 4 million levs in 2021 from 3.4 million levs in 2020.

Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. The company is part of blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
