The next big Dragon Ball title from Bandai Namcos is out on October 14th for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, Dragon Ball: The Breakers is not your typical video game adaptation of anime/manga. This multiplayer game is where players must survive and escape from a dangerous villain. We’ll look at 15 things you should know before buying.

The story of Dragon Ball: The Breakers sees seven ordinary people being hit by an unexpected temporal phenomenon, not unknown. This traps the people of Temporal Seam against the powerful enemy known as a Raider from a different timeline. The survivors must do whatever they can to survive and escape the Temporal Seam before being eliminated.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a sung-like game. One-to-one players must cooperate to escape the Temporal Rift (or, somehow, defeat the Raider). As far as the time comes, players hold their hands on the Raider, so they can take up the survivors and destroy the time machine at the bottom of the scale so they can escape.

The fittest is guaranteed to survive. There are other ways to play the prologue and to study the rope as well as Online Match.

The survivors have two familiar faces: Bulma and Oolong and an Earthling male and female, which are not the most distinct characters but that’s the point. Each Survivor lacks any power like Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo and more. Instead, they should count on weapons, skill (which well get into more quickly), stealth (like hiding behind walls, Solid Snake-style), and their general cunning to defeat the Raider.

In Breakers Cell, Buu and Frieza are three Raiders. Each starts at 1 and can evolve by taking up various steps. For example, cells begin to build a larval, at level 1 and must aspire through their formation and expansion using an absorber of the survivors and NPCs. Change and leveling give more strength, health, and damage. One grenades are at level 4, and when the guzzling enemies arrive at level 4 of the monster.

Most Dragon Ball fans are familiar with that map. It’s for residential areas, rocky plateaus, cities, etc. There are a lot of items in each area. Any time a Raider comes up, they destroy the area on the map. If you are caught in the blast, this will not do a bad thing.

Power Keys and a startup system is also available.

For the Survivors, escape requires activation of the Super Time Machine. That’s very hard. First, you’re going to find Power-Keys where each area on the map has one. Next, they should go to the Startup System and activate it with a Power Key. After the system is started, the Survivors must defend their lives against the Raider for a certain period of time.

All the key stops them coming faster. The Temporal Seam is fixed and the Survivors won. The rogue must destroy the Startup Systems before it starts. This reduces the number of power-car keys that can be collected.

Were the startup system broken? If this win is all right, it’s more likely to be. The map shows several Beacons after the Super Time Machines destruction. These are used to call an emergency timepiece for help with emergency tasks for the escape from the one-seater or the other surviving. But, too, there’s some catch. It may be difficult for only one to call at a time and only if the Raider destroys it.

In terms of abilities, survivors have different active and passive skills. Active abilities include an X-Roller to protect against the sleeve as well as Smoke Screen. This hinders the Raider to lock up loyalies in a certain range of weapons. A Saiyan Pod Remote allows you to fly quickly and move a map forward. Survivors change into random objects to hide (though you can obtain something that sticks out, so caution is recommended).

The Raiders also possess an active and passive ability, which increases as they get up. That skills include Ki Detection, a tool that enables the detection of a Survivor’s aura, that makes it easier for them to find them. The number of Special Attacks available increases, which also means they can gain an Ultimate Special Attack. For example, Perfect Cell may throw a Kamehameha in straight line, so it could do a lot of damage.

Did we say a void of powers like Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Gohan? Well, good news are the survivors having the power to defend themselves. I’m not quite sure. One’s son is not his uncle. This allows a specific Z Fighter with Super Attacks like the Kamehameha, Special Beam Cannon, Galick Gun and so on. Up to three tnospheres with different forms can be equipped and changed in battle.

However, just because you can become Goku doesn’t mean that you can win the battle. Each Transphere has a degree so high the level, as more Change power becomes necessary. If the Raiders level is high, you need a similar level Form to meet your opponent’s level. Once again, a form can help fly and escape, and as a diversion, so lower level forms have the advantage.

Vehicles and items are all mine.

The map includes two gloves for firing Ki, a Jet-Bike for quicker movement, and a Dragon Radar for locating Power Keys. One can also find a rocket launcher that will tick the Raider and a dinosaur mount, among other weapons and vehicles.

There is no dragonball game without Dragon Balls. One would like some help, but he could give a vow. The Dragon Change level of allies can be increased by one, or you can choose the Ultimate Dragon Change for yourself (one level 4 form). The latter is the strongest form for a Survivor and works really well against a Raider. The Raider can also make a wish, either to improve their evolution level by one or to restore HP therefore be careful.

Despite the fact that trolling your teammates is silly, the chance to triumph lies in cooperation. If the teammate was weak and requested help, it would generally be good if they revived him. There are also Signal Feature, besides pinging. It can be used to ping the certain kinds of other people, ask teammates to assemble, warn them of the Raiders’ location, and more.

The Standard and Special Edition are available.

The Standard Edition of Dragon Ball: The Breakers is priced at $20. Preordering nets the LAN for Android 18 with wall-kick skill and Full Power Energy Blast Volley Super Attack. You can also carry an extra protective tool for a Blue Scouter. The special edition is $30. There’s the base game, four cosmetic items, a Victory Pose and a Dragon (Yellow) vehicle skin.

Of course, more cosmetics are available in-game with Zeni or TP (second time is premium currency). There are labeling, keychains, T-shirts, Pants, Hoodies, Boots, Bracelets, and even Olongs’ ears and nose. You can even order custom voices for the Raider’s different forms. In the past networking tests, there was a tab Recommended in the store with rotating items.

A hilariously sufficient technique, the domain is acquired through gacha. Seriously. When you use tickets, Zeni or TP, you can roll for 5 star Goku who has Kaioken Rush as a skill. There’s no word on the drop rate, but it’ll be rarer for the more powerful form.

As with any other recent Dragon Ball games, the PC requirements for Breakers aren’t too heavy. At least you need an Intel Core i5-7600 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100 GPU, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 770 or Radeon RX 470. The recommended requirements include a Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 780 or Radeon RX 570. In both cases, you’ll need 10 GB of storage, but this could decrease the time if more characters and maps are added.
